SWAT team approach to 10K, 10Q filing.

    We recently completed two major undertakings to file the 10K for two public companies.  Our "SWAT TEAM" was called in to get the books ready for an audit over a weekend and the 10K was filed on Friday, on time.

Tax Savings

    We just completed a review of a small business's tax position and helped them realize over $35,000 in federal and state income tax credits.

    We discovered that a client had a location that was located in a California Enterprise Zone and we went back two years and delivered over $54,000 in California state income tax credits.

    Most clients are getting 10% of their new hires eligible for tax credits and the average credit is now $1,200.

Major Accounting Conversion

    We are in the process of converting two company's financial reporting packages to a more robust product which will allow for management to have real time access to the financial reporting needed to run the business.

Temporary CFO

    We are the CFO of two companies on a part-time basis.  Our challenge is to improve the weekly/monthly reporting cycles and to identify and correct profit drains.  Once the drains have been plugged, we will recruit and hire a full time replacement.

    Last year, we took on the assignment of helping a company sort out its accounting records, installed a user-friendly accounting package, revamped the collections system, fired the controller and replaced him with a talented person who's taken the ball and is running with it.  Today, the company is comfortably profitable and they now have immediate access to all information.

Public Company Reverse Merger

    We are currently looking for a company to do a reverse merger with.  We have a public shell that would be an attractive merger candidate.  There are two companies looking at the merger.

Dressing up the Bride

    We are currently helping a company get ready for sale.  One is a Welfare to Work training and placement business in the Bronx who's sales have tripled in the past two years.  The company has improved profitability many times over and will be looking for a buyer at the end of this year/

Realization

We recently consulted with a company and had them realize that the only way out of their situation was to file for Chapter 11 bankruptcy.  We are now in the middle of putting the plan together for the trustees.  It was the only sensible way out.  We're helping manage through the process by bringing in a good attorney and a crisis manager.

Relationships

Developed a relationship with Business Link in NYC to help companies recruit wage subsidy/tax credit eligible employees and get reimbursed for the monies they pay them, up to 100% over the first 6 months and 40% over the next 6 months.
