Employer tax credits are available to every tax paying corporation.  They are tax incentives offered by the federal and state governments for hiring certain targeted groups of individuals.

On average, a typical company will hire between 5% and 10% of its workforce from one of these targeted groups and the average credit will be between $1,000 and $2,000 dollars per individual depending on the hours worked, wages paid and length of service.
